All coaches looking to get involved with womens football are encouraged to apply. We actively look for individuals enthusiastic about expanding their coaching careers to our program. Please send resume and letter of intent to headcoach@manchesterfreedom.com.

Staff members are generally involved with the team in the pre-season, during practices, and at games. Members of our staff can include physical trainers, doctors/EMT's, massage therapists, equipment managers and more. Volunteers are needed (and are greatly appreciated) at every Freedom HOME GAME. In general, the Freedom have 4 home games during the regular season. Volunteer positions generally require little training and can be a ton of fun. We will train and coordinate options with all individuals looking to get more involved with the Freedom. We encourage any interested individuals to apply!

Current Openings:

Kids Club Coordinator - Works directly with the General Manager to oversee projects are planned to get children more involved with our team on game day.

Chain gang - We generally need 2-3 people to assist with the chains during game time. As a chain gang member you would be positioned on the away teams sideline during the entire game and would get an up close and personal view of the game.

Security - Members of Freedom nation are needed to monitor entrance gates to ensure that tickets are purchased and that only teams and staff members have access to the field.

Concessions - Assist with the sale of game day concessions (hot dogs, soda, candy, etc.).

Merchandise - Assist with merchandise sales (clothing, footballs, etc.)

Film Crew - Works directly with the Game Day Coordinator and Head coach for the proper applications and procedures of filming with regards to IWFL regulations. Video equipment will be provided for you at each game.

Individuals and establishments interested in doing an internship with the Manchester Freedom are encouraged to contact Rich Parkinson at gameday@manchesterfreedom.com. If you have a field you specialize in or want to specialize in, we have the position, from coaching and marketing to administrative duties. Here some of the requirements to be further discussed:

Each internship position requires you to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, including nights and weekend. You must have a GPA of 3.0 and have two years of background in a sport major in order to qualify for the position. You need to provide your own transportation to and from work.

Suggested positions include but are not limited to the following:

Marketing Assistant: Research and develop proposals for potential sponsors, writing and mailing announcements to sponsors. Assist with event implementation, promotions, and sponsor completion. Help find creative ways to advertise for the Manchester Freedom.
Operations: Attend all four home games recording statistics or assisting with other needs for the Manchester Freedom. Help make sure that all game day projects are set up accordingly.
Athletic Trainer: Three letters of recommendation are required for this position, one of which should include a current majored professor. You will need to attend all practices and games with a good background in taping and assisting athletic needs.
