Each year the Manchester Freedom participate in the pre-Thanksgiving and Christmas food drive at New Horizons Food Pantry. On the Thursday's and Saturday's prior to Thanksgiving and Christmas, Freedom players, staff, and family are on hand to help New Horizons with a variety of tasks including building boxes for local family donations, unloading shipments of items given from local businesses, hospitals, churches, and the Manchester community, and helping to organize shelved items. During the Christmas participation, over 400 boxes are built, stacked in cars, and delivered to homes in need throughout the City of Manchester. 

Both times of the year is a rewarding team event for the Freedom, as we give over 200 hours of service to the community we take pride in. If you would like to read more about New Horizon's you can do so by clicking here to visit their web site.
